Now the average US household has 25 connected devices and it’s growing fast. Both Pixel 7s are up to date on software updates and both Spotify and Google Home apps are up to date. When we built the Google Home app nearly 10 years ago, our average user had fewer than three devices. But I don't think a factory reset of the phones would help because the issue isn't isolated on one device. I thought maybe factory reset all the devices and delete the home in the Home app then reset everything back up, but this is the 2nd to last step I am going to try and the last one would be to factory reset our phones. I thought it was just my Pixel 7 but as of today my wife's Pixel 7 had the same issue but didn't the previous day. I tried rebooting my device, uninstalling both Google Home app and Spotify app. I'm connected to the same wifi as the nest minis and hub max. I recently switched internet providers within the last month but haven't had any issues until yesterday. If I use Google assistance to play music it comes on any of the nest minis when prompted by voice recognition. Now none of my speakers are showing in either the Spotify app or Google Home app. I used to be able to go into Spotify and cast to any of the devices in the Google Home app and cast to one at a time in the Spotify app. ![]() I have 5 nest mini's and a nest hub max all setup in Google Home originally.
